The building comes in at a whopping 13,600 square feet and can seat almost 500 people. It definitely looks large when you walk in the door, but there are hidden rooms and bar areas around the restaurant, too. So, you have to come back for multiple occasions to experience the whole thing.

A new feature at the Baton Rouge location that you will not find at any of the other Drago’s is a small stage for live music. This Drago’s will feature a live musical performer every week.

But, the tried and true favorite feature about the Drago’s brand is the menu. The Baton Rouge location offers the same menu and prices as the flagship location in Metairie. That means there are plenty of charbroiled oysters!

A new item on the menu that owner Tommy Cvitanovich is excited about is the Dr. Pepper Gator Bowl. Of course, it’s made with alligator, and boasts a spicy-sweet flavor. Five different types of peppers help make up this dish. Everything is simmered together and served over rice.
