No vacancy at the Taco Bell Hotel

Taco Bell is close to opening the Taco Bell Hotel in August! That’s right, the American Tex-Mex overlords are taking over the V Palm Springs Resort in California. Decked out with everything from a salon to happy hours and surprise poolside snacks, the folks behind the Nachos BellGrande® want to make sure you have a Baja Blast this summer. All sorts of Taco Bell art will cover the rooms and resort. Even the pillows take the shape of hot sauce packets! (Who doesn’t want to snuggle up with one of those???)

The fast food paradise will pop up for a limited time from August 8-12. A lot of quesadilla fans made the trek to the Bell Hotel website when reservations went live on June 27 at 10:00 am Pacific Time (Noon Central Time & 1:00 pm Eastern Time). There were only 70 rooms at the resort. Rooms start at $169 a night. Reservations went in two minutes!! If you scored a room, make sure to order Taco Bell menu items for room service. They might even have international favorites from Taco Bells around the world on the menu.

“The Bell stands to be the biggest expression of the Taco Bell lifestyle to date. It will be fun, colorful, flavorful and filled with more than what our fans might expect,” Taco Bell’s Chief Global Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg said in a press release. “Also, just like some of our most sought-after food innovation, this hotel brings something entirely new for lucky fans to experience and enjoy.”

Taco Bell Hotel

The Taco Bell Hotel news comes shortly after the launch of the Taco Shop, an online store front that offers taco-themed summertime swag like bathing suits, beach towels, coolers, and even a pool float that looks like a sauce packet. Can’t snag something before you hit the road? Don’t worry, all the taco gear will be available in the Bell Hotel gift shop.

Fair warning for the younger Bell Heads out there, you must be 18-years-old to visit the Taco Bell Hotel.
