Haunting acres of Halloween chills and thrills.
Scout Island Scream Park, the city’s largest Halloween event, transforms a portion of New Orleans City Park into a free-roaming land of terror.

This year, Scout Island Scream Park debuted two new haunted attractions to spook thrill-seekers.
Visitors can brave a new ancient Egyptian-themed Pharaoh’s Fury haunted house and the gory Stitch’s Body Emporium at the fright festival this Halloween season.
The Pharaoh’s Fury haunted house pays homage to “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” and draws on inspiration from Ancient Egypt.
Another new attraction, Stitch’s Body Emporium, takes a turn toward a more gory horror experience.
Guests will encounter a dog-faced doctor named Stitch, known as a “Picasso of blood” striving for perfection.
Scout Island also made changes to the returning haunted attractions, The Devil’s Swamp and Zombie Outbreak Battlefield. With the new additions, visitors can explore four haunts around the park.

The park also launches a new daytime festival and a Scooby Doo-style, animated adventure targeted to younger kids called The Boogie Spooktakular.
The Boogie Spooktakular is an immersive, cartoon-based adventure experience filled with iconic Halloween characters.
Inside the attraction, families will find large screen projections with Halloween-themed cartoons, featuring scenes like dancing ghosts, singing pumpkins and witches, all synchronized to music.
During the daytime festival, guests can board an old fashioned tractor-pulled wagons for an adventure through the wooded swamp perimeter. The Kid Zone area will also feature a large bouncy house, kid-sized carnival rides, arts and crafts, magicians and live music. These activities will also be open during the night time hours.
