We are the Louisiana Weekend:

Kylie Maris — Producer

Kylie Maris is a Florida native. She was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, home to the University of Florida. As an avid Gator fan her entire life, Kylie wanted that same SEC feeling she was raised on, but in a new, unfamiliar place. From there, her focus shifted to all things purple and gold.
Kylie graduated from Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication in May 2019 with a concentration in broadcast journalism and a minor in sports studies. During her time at LSU, she was an anchor and reporter at LSU’s student-run television station, Tiger TV, while also interning for WAFB’s sports department.

After graduation, Kylie parted ways with Louisiana and returned to Florida. Now she is back in the Bayou where she is taking over the role as reporter and producer for the LouisianaWeekend.com.

She is excited to be back and expand her horizons even more on all the things Southeast Louisiana has to offer.
