You can’t tailgate on Saturdays this October, but you can still help the Tigers win.
The LSU Bass Fishing Team is hosting its third annual benefit fishing tournament Saturday, Oct. 25 in Morgan City, La.
The event will help raise money to help pay for the team’s travels across the U.S. to compete in collegiate fishing tournaments.
The benefit tournament is scheduled from sunrise to 2 p.m. at Dorion’s Landing (behind the store), located at 3185 Highway 70 Morgan City, La.
Registration for the tournament will take place the morning of the tournament at 4 a.m.
The cost to enter the tournament is $100. Cash prizes will be given away for first, second, and third place, as well as the biggest bass.
The first-place payout is $1,000 and the second-place payout is $500, and the third-place payout is $250.
Print and fill out the above form and present it to tournament officials on the day of the tournament.
The payout for the biggest bass will be determined at the end of the tournament based on the number of entries.
