Local museums to offer free admission for ‘Museum Month’ this August

More than a dozen local museums will offer free admission in August during “New Orleans Museum Month.” Guests can take advantage of this summer steal as long as you’re a member at a participating institution.

The promotion includes a mix of major art museums and cultural landmarks throughout the greater New Orleans area. Some of the notable locations include the National WWI Museum, New Orleans Museum of Art, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Contemporary Arts Center and Longue Vue House and Gardens.
