Hole 'N Da Wall wins the first ever Battle of the Best: Crawfish edition
Hole ‘N Da Wall Seafood is the official winner of Louisiana Weekend’s Crawfish Battle.
Over the last SIX weeks, 64 competitors battled it out for the best crawfish in and around the capital city. In the final round, Hole ‘N Da Wall Seafood beat out Tee Wayne’s Cajun Cooking.
Hole ‘N Da Wall Seafood out of Port Vincent is a grab-and-go crawfish experience. The business and its recipe have been around for some time. In 2019, Jacob and Lyndsi Landry acquired the company, keeping that same quality recipe right where it belonged.
“When we purchased it, I’m one of those that believes if it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” said Jacob Landry. “We do everything exactly the same. The way we wash, the way we boil, everything is completely the same.”
Your votes make Hole ‘N Da Wall the first ever champion of Louisiana Weekend’s Battle of the Best Crawfish.
The company, which also serves boiled shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, will be selling crawfish through the end of May, then close for the season. To place your order or learn more, click here.
Over in Ascension Parish, find the one and only Tee Wayne’s Cajun Cooking. Tee Wayne’s offers a large menu to choose from, including its delicious crawfish recipe. Whether it’s your first time in, or maybe your second or third, expect the same delicious Cajun cooking over and over again.
“The food is always good, but our biggest thing is always consistency,” said Tee Wayne’s owner Tyler Bilingsley. “We try to be consistent about everything. When you come in here and get our crawfish for the first time, the next time you come, it’s going to taste the same.”
Tee Wayne’s is expecting to serve crawfish through the end of the season. To place your order or learn more, click here.
