UPDATE: The next free museum day at the Knock Knock Children’s Museum is September 22, 2019.

The Knock Knock Children’s Museum wants you to join them for another FREE day in the interactive and educational play place. Thanks to Aetna, you and your kiddos can enjoy the museum for free on Sunday, Aug. 25.

Mr. Jimmy at the Knock Knock took to Instagram this week to announce this month’s free Sunday. According to him, guests can get into the interactive museum and play place for free during regular business hours. On Sundays, the doors open at 11:00 am and close at 5:00 pm.

Because free play time in the museum is such a fun opportunity, Knock Knock does have a notice about the capacity availability.

Their website says:

Please note – During peak times, Knock Knock utilizes timed entry to allow visitors to enjoy the museum while maintaining optimal crowd comfort. If at maximum capacity, last museum entry will be 3:30 PM in order to ensure a full museum experience.

So, be aware of your time when you and the children arrive to play. There may be many families there trying to enjoy playtime, as well. However, if you can’t get in this Sunday, this won’t be your only opportunity.

Turns out, the Knock Knock tries to offer a free museum day every fourth Sunday of the month. With generous contributions from private donors, foundations and grants, the museum can welcome you in the doors with no charge on those special Sundays.

According to the front desk, they have sponsorships lined up through November. So, you may be able to get into the museum for free on Sept. 22, Oct. 27, and Nov. 24, as well.
