Support the Companion Animal Alliance on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Dogs and craft beer — name a better duo! Well, if you can’t think of one, then the Cap City Beer Fest is for you. Companion Animal Alliance (CAA) hosts its 5th annual event, so you can drink beer and save animals at the same time. See it all on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Cap City Beer Fest is a dog-friendly beer tasting event that brings regional, national and international craft beers to Downtown Baton Rouge. Your ticket purchase supports the CAA. And it gives lost and abandoned animals in the East Baton Rouge Parish a second chance at finding a forever home.
With the purchase of a fest ticket, receive a 2 oz. sampling glass and access to unlimited samplings of specialty beers. Of course, you must be 21 or older with ID to participate in the drinking part of the event. However, you only need to purchase a ticket if you plan to partake in the beer sampling. Entry to the festival is otherwise free of charge and family-friendly.
Tickets start at $25 each. But, you might want to buy them early because they start at $35 at the door of the event. VIP tickets are also available. Buy your tickets HERE.
Enjoy the fall afternoon with live music provided by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. This year’s featured artist is New Orleans brass band, Dysfunktional Bone.
Dogs, beer drinkers and families may gather for the event on Sunday in front of the LSU Museum of Art. Entry into the fest begins at 12:30 pm. Then, it all closes down at 4:00 pm.
Four-legged and two-legged friends head over to the corner of North Boulevard and Lafayette Street for the festivities.
