Downtown Festival of Lights is making a virtual return on Dec. 4, 2020

Downtown Baton Rouge is kicking off the holiday season with its annual, yet virtual, Festival of Lights. The experience will look slightly different, but guests can still grab a virtual front row seat to the Christmas Tree lighting.

On Friday, Dec. 4, the lighting of the 35-foot Christmas Tree will air live on WAFB, Channel 9 in the 6 p.m. newscast. You can also watch the entire live stream event here or on the Louisiana Weekend Facebook page.

Although there’s no in-person event this year, the tree will be lit the entire holiday season. Throughout the month of December, guests can stop by the North Boulevard Town Square for socially distanced photo op.

The holiday experiences are endless, so enjoy!
