St. Bernard Parish has some of the finest fishing in the state. So, there’s no better place to take St. Bernard's finest fishing for redfish than Shell Beach in the Biloxi Marsh.
Fishing for redfish this summer has been as hot as the sun.
Where are the fish biting?
St. Bernard Parish has some of the finest fishing in the state.
So, there’s no better place to take St. Bernard’s finest fishing for redfish than Shell Beach in the Biloxi Marsh.
Sheriff Jimmy Pullman and Lieutenant Robert Broadhead joined me (Captain CT Williams) and Captain Jimmy Correly on a redfish trip.
Captain Correly says this weekend is a great time to get in on this fishing action. “Just hit the cuts, the ditches, and everything. you’ll pick them up.”
How do you rig your line?
“Campo’s live shrimp, two for under a dollar and a quarter. They make a lot of noise, pop up on the grass, pop it again and they usually gonna hit it.”
So, there you go, great redfish in the Biloxi Marsh.
Get yourself some live shrimp and some good weather, and you can put together a nice box of good eating fish.
That’s this week’s big fish report, I’m Captain C.T. Williams, with Sheriff Jimmy Pullman from St. Bernard Parish, for WAFB 9 News.
