BIGFISH: Fishing for redfish in the marsh is as good as it gets

Redfish are moving into their spawning season right now and that means they are all over the marshes of south Louisiana.

Redfish are bitting all over the marsh

Where are the fish biting?

Smaller reds seem to get active this time of year as well. Captain Mike Gallo and I made a trip into the Biloxi Marsh and found just about every pond we stopped in offering a few nice fish.

So, whether it’s little rat reds or big bulls, the marsh fishing for redfish is as good as it gets.
