As part of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Captain CT Williams honors a Louisiana Vietnam Veteran who hasn't been on a boat in 20 years.
Honoring Those Who Served In Vietnam
In honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Captain CT decided to honor a Louisiana Vietnam Veteran with a saltwater fishing trip.
Alvin Yates had not been on a boat in 20 years, despite being a champion bank fisherman.
Captain CT put an end to Alvin’s boat drought and along with Captain Lloyd Landry, they caught plenty of redfish and speckled trout.

Spring and speckled trout are moving in right on time.
As temperatures warm, in many areas fishing conditions improve.
The Bonnet Carre Spillway affects on fishing in Lake Pontchartrain are still uncertain, but in other areas, the fishing season is clearly getting underway.
