All honored recipients made or continue to make significant strides in the local, national and international blues music industries. Their talents and contributions will be celebrated with live music from Blue Monday All Stars, DJ Swamp Boogie and more.

The Baton Rouge Blues Foundation, producer of the Baton Rouge Blues Festival, exists to preserve and celebrate the Baton Rouge blues culture. The non-profit organization also wants to bring the best of Louisiana swamp blues music to the world.

According to the press release, this year’s event sparks a new partnership between Pal Productions, the foundation and Preserve Louisiana. Johnny Palazzoto offered the use of his Blues Memorabilia and collected artifacts to be curated and placed on view by the team of Preserve Louisiana.

Tickets for the Gala go on sale after Aug. 16 on BonTempsTix.
