The Bandito Food & Music Festival at Baton Rouge’s Galvez Plaza was originally planned for Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Make sure to come hungry! Restaurants from across the region will also compete to see who has the best BBQ and Taco.

While you’re eating, you can also enjoy the live music performances. You can expect to hear plenty of country, Rock-n-Roll, and American music. Here is a list of the scheduled performers.

  • Lucero
  • Reverend Horton Heat
  • American Aquarium
  • Drivin N Cryin
  • Elizabeth Cook
  • Dash Rip Rock
  • Elash

The festival started in 2019 but did not happen in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attendance for the festival is free, but VIP tickets are available. All proceeds will go to Behind the Line Baton Rouge, a nonprofit organization that seeks to make a difference in the lives of First Responders and their families.
