The hot weather is here to stay in Louisiana!

This summer heat index is driving us nuts! One of the quickest (and tastiest) ways to cool off is with a great snowball. Check out these Baton Rouge options when you're looking for a delicious way to beat the heat.

Ice cream stuffed snowballs topped with condensed milk are my weakness! These guys are open every day from 11 am to 7:30 pm.

Cool Delights Snowballs

You can’t beat a classic snowball. Great flavors at great prices. Plus, your tongue and lips will look really cool after taking down one of these rainbow snowballs.

Cool Tiger Ice Snoballs

According to their Facebook “About” section, these guys have been shaving ice for 14 years. And, they stuff their snowballs with cheesecake! I mean, it sounds like they are pros at this point. Get adventurous with one of Cool Tiger Ice’s snowballs. 

Find these guys on Jones Creek Road. They are open all year long and seven days of the week.

D-Bro Sno

If you are closer to Gonzales, this might be your next snowball stop. D-Bro Sno sports 58 regular, 8 sugar-free and 10 specialty flavors. Plus, they serve up soft serve ice cream and milkshakes.

Ninja Snoballs

This is a rolling snowball machine. Ninja Snowballs parks around Baton Rouge to serve you snowballs. They even do private events. Call them at (504) 717-2244 if you want to see this food truck at your party.

Rainbow Delites

Rainbow Delites are open seven days of the week 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Besides snowballs, they also have nachos, hot sausages, hot dogs and frito pies. It’s like a snack shack!

Snoman Snoballs

These babies are loaded! At Snoman Snoballs, you may see cheesecake, whipped cream, chocolate chips and/or sprinkles pilled high on your cup of fluffy shaved ice. Get yours any day of the week between 12 pm and 8 pm. They say just look for the blue buildings.

There are three locations of this snowball stand. The one on Burbank Drive seems to be the original and the other two locations are at 3655 Perkins Road and 14616 Tiger Bend Road.

Waycool Snowballs

Waycool Snowballs is a family favorite spot because of the colorful kids’ playground that joins the snowball stand. Plus, they make these specialty snowballs on a few occasions, like this Chantilly Cake snowball. You’ll see the WAFB Evening News crew here soon for a Quick Bites episode!

S.A.B.'s Snowball Shoppe

Woah. Look at that pile of snowball! Open every day of the week, you can stop in from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm. 

You have to make a few minutes drive to this snowball spot though. Find S.A.B.’s in Brusly.
