BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - The Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance or “BREADA” is presenting a summer series for their Red Stick Farmers Market during June and July 2023. This summer series is a celebration of the abundance of Louisiana grown produce. The farmers market has vendors from seventeen Louisiana parishes. In addition to produce, attendees can purchase plants, jellies, jams, breads, prepared foods and more. There will be cooking demonstrations and live music. There are four market locations with varied market times.
Tuesdays: 3:00pm – 6:00pm at EBRPL – Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd
Wednesdays: 9:00am – 12:00pm at Exxon Mobile YMCA, 7717 Howell Blvd
Thursdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, 6400 Perkins Road
Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm Downtown Baton Rouge Main Street Market, 5th and Main Streets
