Inaugural Blues and Zydeco Festival Is This Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - The Inaugural West Baton Rouge Parish Blues and Zydeco Festival is Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Centennial Park near Port Allen City Hall in Port Allen, Louisiana. This festival is free and open to the public. There will be live music, food trucks, and kids zone complete with bouncy houses. The theme for the festival is “Louisiana Boots”. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite pair of boots to the festival.

Attendees are allowed to bring chairs, tents, and coolers. In addition to food trucks, there will be BBQ, burgers, and wings. The live music line up includes: KC Taylor the Louisiana Blues Singer, Terry and Zydeco Bad Boys, TNT, Oscar Harpo Davis, Mr. Laidback and more.

There will also be giveaways and a vendors market where local Port Allen businesses and craftspeople will sell items. This event is rain or shine.
