All About Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week

BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - If you are a small business owner, or considering starting a business, you need to be in Baton Rouge next week for Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week on May 1, 2023 through May 6, 2023, one of the best small business conferences around. Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week is in its twelfth year this year with the goal of rediscovering and reimagining business. Entrepreneurs can enjoy a week full of activities starting with a block party on Monday and culminating with the High Stakes Pitch competition on Friday, where the winners receive a check for $100,000 for their business.

One of the highlights of the week is a Keynote Luncheon on Wednesday, where Gayle Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans will give the keynote speech. Other activities include a Start Up Series on Tuesday, Masterclass series on Wednesday, Scale Up Series on Thursday, and BizKid Series on Saturday.

There will be lots of opportunities for small business owners to socialize and maintain their health. Each morning from Tuesday through Saturday starting at 7:00am, there is a Live Well series that offers yoga, walking, and running prior to the start of the conference. From 8:00am until 9:00am on Tuesday through Friday, there is a Coffee and Conversations series taking place at local coffee shops. Here, entrepreneurs can have conversations with guest speakers on a particular subject matter.

For those who would rather socialize in the evenings, there is BREW After Hours where entrepreneurs can explore Baton Rouge on Pedal Pub or Geaux Ride. Entrepreneurs can also attend Headshot Happy Hour where they receive a free picture with the purchase of a drink.
