Cork’s Cares By Giving Back To Teachers

BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - Cork’s Fish & Shrimp recently opened on 5131 Government Street in Baton Rouge. Cork’s is a fast casual seafood restaurant that specializes in Cajun Fried Shrimp, Cajun Fried Fish and Crawfish Etouffee. Cork’s is eager to offer freshly made high quality seafood in a drive-thru style delivery. They also have a dining room for those who are not in such a big hurry. You may see familiar faces at Cork’s Fish & Shrimp because Cork’s is owned by Paul and Michael Mladenka, who also own Cou-Yons Barbecue.

In an effort to give back to the community, Cork’s created the Cork’s Cares initiative where they give $10.00 gift card vouchers to teachers in the community. School administrators may request the $10.00 vouchers for deserving teachers in their school. This is an ongoing initiative.
