BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - The Krewe of Comogo Night Parade rolls Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 7:00pm. This is one of the few nighttime parades in the Baton Rouge area this weekend. The Krewe of Comogo was formed in memory of Brenda Comeaux who always wanted a night parade in Plaquemine. Now, in its tenth year, the Krewe of Comogo has become known as the krewe that builds all of its floats. It also rents out a lot of floats to other krewes for parades throughout Louisiana. The Krewe of Comogo has built forty-one total floats. About twenty-six floats will roll in the parade on Sunday. Southern University’s Human Jukebox marching band will lead the parade. Expect a lot of throws and a lot of lights.
