Louisiana Nominees For 65th Grammy Awards

BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - Music’s biggest night, the 65th Grammy Awards take place Sunday, February 5th at 7:00pm.  Viewers can watch live here on WAFB Channel 9.   There are thirty musical artists from Louisiana who are nominated this year.   We spoke with Sean Ardoin, a fourth generation Creole Accordianist, who is nominated for Best Reginal Roots Music.

Louisiana has a rich history with the Grammys as a Louisiana named Jay Danna from Metairie named the “Grammy” award after winning a contest in 1959.
