BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - Local singer and songwriter McKenzie Knapps, who goes by the stage name MKNZ will perform this Saturday, August 27th at Fred’s in Tigerland. McKenzie was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the young age of nine, she won VH1′s TV Series, “I Know my Kid’s a Star.” Currently, McKenzie is working on an album and is performing full band shows locally.
