BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - There’s a new self-defense class for women in Baton Rouge. The Equalizer Women’s Self Defense Program will teach women tools they need to defend themselves in violent situations. This four-night class is taught by officer instructors of the Baton Rouge Police Academy and will empower women to recognize and avoid violent situations.
This class is free and is appropriate for women of all ages from 13 years old and up. Class dates are July 25th and 27th, August 1st and 3rd. Classes start at 6pm and will be held at the Baton Rouge Police department located at 9000 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. You must attend all four classes for best results. Sign up Here
