New Orleans — BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - Walker’s Legacy will host the Science of a Woman: Cultivating Complete Wellness Power Brunch during the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Saturday, July 2nd. This brunch will recognize the thriving businesses that are spurring the beauty and wellness renaissance. The event will also explore the contributions of Black Women in STEM fields while encouraging powerful conversations.

Walker’s Legacy has an ambitious goal to ensure 10,000 Black women entrepreneurs are bankable and capital ready by 2025, and this panel will highlight dynamic women that can offer insight and best practices for achieving complete wellness while on the entrepreneurial journey. The panelists will include professionals that can speak to each of the dimensions of wellness and in turn help us deliver on our mission to cultivate the whole woman.
