Darrow, Louisiana — BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society will host the Second Annual Spring Fete event this Sunday, May 1st at Houmas House and Gardens. Spring Fete is a fundraising event where guests can taste wine, spirits, beer, and delicious food from local chefs. The dress code is casual. You must be 21 or older to attend. This is a wonderful event for a Sunday afternoon date. It is also a good event for a first date.
Participating restaurants include: Rouj Creole, Proverbial Wine Bistro, Ruffino’s Finbomb, Roux 61, solera, Playa Bowls, Bergeron City Market, Houmas House, Sysco, and TJ Ribs.
The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society is a non-profit organization made up of culinary professionals including chefs, restauranteurs, food suppliers, and wine purveyors. Their goal is to raise funds for childhood nutrition initiatives, education programs, and scholarships.
