BATON ROUGE, La. (THE LOUISIANA WEEKEND) - A new night spot has opened in Baton Rouge. Monte Cristo Cigar Bar and Bistro opened on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Monte Cristo considers itself a bar and bistro for the “grown and sexy” crowd. There is a designated area for cigar smoking. The bistro is open to all. Monte Cristo plans to host special events, karaoke, musicians and more. Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome spoke at the grand opening event. Business owner Gerald Coleman and General Manager Neichelle Horton both welcome the community to Monte Cristo Bar and Bistro.
