Once occupying a space at Mid-City’s White Star Market, Gov’t Taco had a plan in place to open its own brick and mortar.

But White Star Market’s permanent closure, due to the coronavirus pandemic, brought new challenges for Gov’t Taco
After an eight month hiatus from the food scene, Gov’t Taco is officially back and located at 5621 Government St. Along with a new location comes a revamped menu. Customers can enjoy classic items including tacos and street corn, but check out new additions like dips, drinks and desserts.
Gov’t Taco is open Monday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Happy hour is offered each day from 4 – 7 p.m. To view the full menu, click here.
