Vitalant Egg-stravaganza Blood Drive - Baton Rouge
Date: April 15 through 21

Coby the cat is ready for Easter and he has lined up some special thank you gifts for blood donors during Vitalant’s Egg-stravaganza. Hop on in to your nearest donation center or blood drive to help #SaveTheHumans with Coby.
In order to keep an adequate blood supply, we need all types to donate regularly. When you donate you are helping those in need like cancer patients, accident victims, premature babies, and more.
Join the Egg-stravaganza blood drive at a donation center or a mobile blood drive and you will receive a Save the Humans spring t-shirt & a $25 Amazon gift card through bonus points in the online rewards store.

Blood donation takes about an hour from check-in to refreshments. Donors can save about 20 minutes by completing their Fast Track Health History the day they donate. It’s at vitalant.org.
Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16-years-old, weigh at least 110 lbs, and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 and 17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
Sunshine Social Bunny Hop - Baton Rouge
Date: Thursday, Apr. 19
Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Milton J. Womack Park, 6201 Florida Blvd.
Through a partnership with Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge, BREC is able to offer themed, monthly socials for adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities and their friends and family. For this fun and festive event, pop on the rabbit ears or your favorite Easter attire! The event is for those ages 16+. The cost is $5 per person.
Easter Sunday Brunch at White Oak Plantation - Baton Rouge
Date: Sunday, Apr. 21
Time: 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. seating
Location: White Oak Plantation, 17660 George O’Neal Rd.
Chef John Folse and White Oak Plantation will celebrate the season with an eggs-traordinary Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. Kids will have their own buffet as well as Easter egg hunts at 12:30 and 3 p.m., as well as a bunny petting zoo. Families are invited to stroll White Oak Plantation’s gardens and grounds to take family photos. Tickets are $59.95 each for adults and $19.95 each for children ages 6 to 12. Easter Meal at St. Vincent de Paul - Baton Rouge

Volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul will be serving a special free meal to the homeless and needy on Easter Sunday. Easter baskets will also be given to kids 12 and under.
Spring Festival - Baker
