100 year old electrical depot turns social house

Open 7 days a week!

A new-to-you hang out spot debuted on Government Street. The 100-year-old Entergy building now houses a 30,000 square foot social house.

Keeping the industrial feel and look intact, the Red Stick Social offers a cool lunch time and night life space.

It shows off a stage, a bar, a main dining area, an outdoor dining area, a beer garden, and 10 bowling lanes.

Overall, the atmosphere is very lively. You hear music over the loud speakers and crashing bowling pins as soon as you walk through the main entrance.

The adopted phrase, “Let the good times roll,” seems very suiting for this social house. The saying greets you at the front door and appears on the back of employees’ shirts.

To stop by, this place is open Monday-Thursday at 10am-1am, Friday-Saturday at 10am-2am and Sunday at 10am-12am. Obviously, it’s open until late hours, so it will make a great late night snack or party stop.

However, if the night life scene doesn’t interest you, it’s comfortable enough for a cup of coffee and lunch. It has free WiFi throughout the whole building.

There are even VIP floors and rooms to rent out. You can host private events, birthday parties or corporate meetings here.

It’s a really intriguing spot to check out. The Red Stick Social will make great entertainment when the temperatures get hotter during the summer.

Red Stick Social is located at 1503 Government St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802
