2019 Baton Rouge Halloween Parade
October 19 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The 9th Annual Baton Rouge Halloween Parade is the main event of the Fifolet Halloween Festival and Baton Rouge’s premiere art parade! The Halloween parade will roll, rain or shine, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
Parade entry applications open August 1 at BRHalloweenParade.com.
Spectators will enjoy seeing over 1,000 participants dressed in extraordinary costumes and incredible make up walk, dance, march, bike or float their way through Downtown Baton Rouge, throwing candy and other goodies as they pass by!
This event is for our entire community, therefore we have 2 party zones where the route crosses 3rd Street, a no alcohol zone on Convention between 5th and 7th, and a no scare zone on 7th Street between Convention and Laurel.
Parade awards are given at the Royalty Brunch on Sunday 10/27. Award categories are Best Float Decor, Best Dance Group (includes teams, students and troupes), Best Theme Representation, Best Throws, Most Fun, Scariest, Best Music, and Best Sucking up to the Judges!
