What is a S'more?

Merriam Webster defines a s’more as a dessert consisting usually of toasted marshmallow and pieces of chocolate bar sandwiched between two graham crackers.

Where did the S'more come from?

Although the origin of the s’more is vague and often disputed, many attribute its creation to a recipe for “some more” which appeared in Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts in 1927.

The world’s largest s’more was created at Deer Run Camping Resort in Gardners, Pennsylvania on May 31, 2014. This jumbo sized sweet treat was created by over 100 volunteers and weighed in at over 260 pounds.

What’s better than one s’more? S’more of course. On August 10, 2016 the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California set the world record for the most people making s’mores simultaneously by making over 450 s’mores at one time.
