Friday, Oct. 6: Brew at the Zoo
The 4th annual Brew at the Zoo will be happening on Friday, October 6 starting at 6 PM! You’re invited to the Zoo for a night of great food, beer tasting, music and more. You’ll be able to sample hundreds of beers and for an opportunity to show off your “safari chic” style. Ticket prices start at $20.
Friday-Sunday, Oct. 6-8: Annuall St. George Parish Fair
The annual St. George Fair will be happening this weekend starting Friday at 6 PM. It serves as the primary fundraiser for St. George Catholic School. There will be rides, games and much more.
Saturday, Oct. 7: Southern University Homecoming Football Game
Southern University will be celebrating their homecoming this Saturday. They will be facing Alabama A&M at 10 AM at A. W. Mumford Stadium.
Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 7-8: Flambeau Fest
In its inaugural year, the Flambeau Fest scored headliners like Lynard Skynyrd, Hank Williams, Jr. and Sam Hunt with the goal of “rocking your socks off.” The new country and Southern rock music festival takes place in Gonzales, La., with the goal of bringing more festivals to places other than New Orleans.
