It's one of the most anticipated events in Baton Rouge
If you're familiar with Baton Rouge then you most likely know about the art hop event White Light Night. Every year the Mid City Merchants come together to celebrate great local artists, food and of course community. It all kicks off at 6 PM and there's even a free shuttle to help you get from place to place. The festival runs through out all of Mid City so we've narrowed down our top stops and eats that you don't want to miss.
The Market at Circa 1857
The Shops will have live music by Jonathon “Boogie” Long and more than 20 artists. They will also have free food as well. Make sure to check out all of the shops and find some treasures to bring home.
Curbside + Calandro's Supermarket
Two Mid City favorites are teaming up again this year to transform their parking lot into an art lovers dream. They will have over 20 artists showing off their wares, food samplings from local eateries, wine samples and live music. Even better? Curbside will be transforming their outdoor patio area into the North Pole!Rumor even has it that Santa will be making an appearance this year.
Slash Creative + Gov't Taco
Gov’t Taco will be serving up their delicious food this year at White Light Night. They’ll be joined by other local eateries like Big Easy Cook Co. and Secret Layer Taqueria. You can find them at Slash Creative tonight right next to their future home at White Star Market.
Mid City Makers Market
The Makers Market has become a monthly favorite here in Baton Rouge. They will be set-up in their usual location and will be hosting a special White Light Night edition.
The Pink Elephant Antiques + The Collective
The two local businesses are joining forces for a joint celebration in their parking lot. You can expect cosmopolitans and cotton candy from The Collective’s Surreal Cafe while the Pink Elephant will be hosting live music. There will also be several artists and makers at the location as well.
Studio C + Rösch Bakehaus + BouillaBabes
Two great food pop-ups will be serving up some unique treats from one location during White Light Night. Rösch Bakehaus will have their delicious baked goods like their German pretzel buns stuffed with smoked boudin or pumpkin pie. Meanwhile BouillaBabes will be slinging two variations of chili- one of which is vegetarian.
