The master of all things fluffy brings his laugh-out-loud world tour to Baton Rouge. Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will perform at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 22, 2020.
This is part of his all new 2020 “Beyond The Fluffy” World Tour “Go Big or Go Home.”
According to the press release, Iglesias is one of a handful of comedians to headline and sell out the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden and the Sydney Opera House. Iglesias is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube. His videos reached 410,000,000 views and he has over 14 million fans across social media.
If you want just a taste of his fluffy stand-up, see this 2009 special. It sits at almost 5.5 million views on Youtube. And if you’re not familiar with all of this “fluffy” stuff, that’s Iglesias’s term referring to his body image. For example, this 2009 stand-up special is titled, “I’m not Fat, I’m Fluffy.”
“There is still no greater thrill for me than to perform standup live, I’m so excited for this tour and to reconnect with all my fans, it’s going to be Fluffy-licious,” Iglesias says regarding the tour.
Iglasies has gone on to star in and produce several other comedy specials, comedy series and feature films. You may recognize him from his roles on Netflix, Comedy Central or films, such as A Haunted House 2, Show Dogs and Magic Mike.
But if you want to transition from seeing fluffy on the screen to seeing fluffy in real life, then head to the Raising Cane’s River Center. Tickets for the March 22 show in Downtown Baton Rouge start at $36. Buy your tickets here. Iglesias takes the stage at 7:00 p.m.
