No matter what your fly fishing experience level, Pack and Paddle will supply the beer!

Experienced fly tyers are asked to bring their vise, tools, materials, and etc.

Those who are new to fly tying and not sure where to start will get an informal fly tying session experienced and curious local tiers. Pack and Paddle will also have a few vices and materials available for you to get started.

If you love to fish and don’t want to tie flies, Pack and Paddle still encourage you to hang out and enjoy a beer. You can also talk with other anglers and talk fishing.

“This will be an open forum for the fly-curious to see the simple process of making your own flies to chase the fish we love as well as a chance for experienced tyers to get together and learn from each other,” Pack and Paddle John Williams said.

“So come out, ask questions, enjoy a cold beer and search through our newly renovated and expanded fly fishing area of our shop.”

The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pack and Paddle is located at 601 E Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, Louisiana 70501.
