Seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood is bringing her 2019 tour to one Louisiana city. The mega country star will play Lafayette’s Cajundome next year as part of her “Cry Pretty Tour 360.”
Underwood’s “Cry Pretty Tour 360” will make a stop at the Cajundome on Sept. 22, 2019. The upcoming tour kicks off on May 1, 2019, at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 17 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
Special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June will also join the all-female lineup as openers.
Underwood also announced even more surprising news for fans. The singer opened up about her pregnancy during her tour announcement via Twitter.
This is the second bundle of joy for Underwood and her husband former professional ice hockey player Matt Fisher. In the video clip, she points to her pregnancy as the reason why fans have to wait until May 2019 for the start of her tour.
“You might be wondering or asking, Carrie, why is your tour starting in May,” the singer said in the video clip before revealing her big pregnancy news. Underwood said her and Fisher are “excited to be adding another little fish” to the family.
