Cajun Country Jam Is Back!
Cajun Country Jam will return to Denham Springs this spring after a three-year hiatus, according to event promoter Scott Innes.
Innes said Denham Springs Mayor Gerard Landry and a group of sponsors worked to bring the popular music festival back to life in Livingston Parish.
Cajun Country Jam will be held in the Historic Antique District in downtown Denham Springs on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
The lineup for Cajun Country Jam includes Grammy, ACM, and CMA Award winners Shenandoah, along with Country Superstars Andy Griggs, & Jamie O’Neal.
American Idol & local town favorite Laine Hardy will also perform.
South Louisiana Superstars Clifton Brown & The Rusty Bucket, The Allison Collins Band, James Linden Hogg, Hal Bruni, Sara Collins and Cowboy Ralph Innes will also be performing at the Train Depot Stage.
Cajun Country Jam will be a free, family-friendly event. Gates will open at 9 a.m. The first musical act will start at 11 a.m. on the Train Depot stage. The main stage will open at 6 p.m.
The music festival is a rain or shine event. Innes says people need to bring their own lawn chairs and most importantly, have fun.
