Bin 77 owners to open a Spanish-inspired restaurant concept

Owners of the 11-year-old Bin 77 take on new ventures. In June, they plan to open a Spanish-inspired restaurant concept called Solera.

On the menu, you’ll find shareable tapas and Spanish-inspired entrees, like steak and pork chops.

They signed the lease on a 3,800-square-foot space in the Southdowns Shopping Center. You may recognize the spot as the old Marcello’s Wine Market Cafe

However, Marcello’s essence is not completely gone. As head chef, former Marcello’s chef Kevin Anderson is sticking around to serve in Solera’s kitchen.

Also joining the team, Bin 77 chef Danny Santana will help build the new restaurant’s menu.

Solera can fit 120 guests. This includes a small private dining area nicknamed the “Tasting Room.”
