Reprint and Auto-Renew

The LDWF has transitioned to a new license sales system which allows hunters and anglers to reprint copies of their hunting and fishing licenses at any time at no charge.

Residents can also create an online account and sign up to auto-renew their hunting and fishing licenses.

Free Fishing Weekend

Anglers are also invited to take part in LDWF’s Free Fishing Weekend on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10.

The weekend is an opportunity for Louisiana residents and visitors alike to fish Louisiana waters without an otherwise required fishing license.

While a fishing license is not required, all fishing regulations, including size, season, catch limits and gear restrictions will remain in effect.
